Welcome!

I am a Social/Personality Psychology Ph.D. student at the University of California, Berkeley.

My research incorporates various methods to (1) investigate the antecedents and consequences of bias (social class and racial) in key interpersonal domains, such as education, healthcare, and the workplace; and (2) employ psychological interventions to interrupt the process of bias and ameliorate negative outcomes.

Current projects investigate…

1) The impact of social class and racial bias on perceptions of and treatment decisions for primary care patients.

2) The potential for a psychological intervention geared toward primary care physicians (PCPs) to mitigate health disparities.

3) The impact of social class bias on teacher/student relationships and disciplinary outcomes in K-12 education.

4) The potential for a psychological intervention geared toward elementary educators to mitigate social class disparities in discipline academic achievement.

5) A novel psychological intervention to improve interpersonal relationships and other key outcomes in the workplace.
